It sounds to me like what those guys are working on is a whole lot more complicated than what I need.

Support for a single or choice of multiple events.
Ability to edit/delete attendee records
Ability to recieve/post manual payments
Support to use 0.00 as event fee
Ability to edit events
Support for 4 custom questions to event per event (easily increase)
Ability to edit confirmation email from Admin panel

Hey, this is probably too late, but if it’s for a single-event, it’s probably best to just use a widget from Eventbrite and use it to manage your registration and payments.
