• I have searched the WP plugin area as well as Google for a considerable amount of time looking for a plugin so I can start a webinar registration area. For example, a visitor goes to my webinar page and registers with specific info for an upcoming webinar.

The only plugin that I found that may have had the capability is wp-eventmanager but it’s development has not continued and was not even stable on 2.2.

Any ideas on how I can make this happen would be greatly appreciated.

  • Nice to hear chodorowicz ??

monsieurt, there isn’t a .pot file yet but all the text is ready.
I’ll make the .pot when I am sure that the worst changes have been made.
There is going to be some documentation, but again, there is no idea in making it now.
We have many ideas/improvements for the plugin that has first priority.

But it would be great if you want to translate it to French.

    Good news everyone : it’s working !
    But, I have some questions.

    – The page to build the form is not very clear.
    – Can we edit a “registration form” ?
    – Can we edit the content of the enrolment’s e-mail ?
    – Can we obliged people to be registred and logged in the website to subscribe for an event ?
    – Can we show the list of members who are enroled for an event.

Yes it works, but not with all the features ??

    – The page to build the form is not very clear.
No it isn’t. I am going to css it up. Then it is going to be easy and user friendly ;D
    – Can we edit a “registration form” ?
Not at the moment, I think Morten forgot that part ?? (He made the hole form building part.
    – Can we edit the content of the enrolment’s e-mail ?
    Yes, in time ??
    – Can we obliged people to be registred and logged in the website to subscribe for an event ?
That one didn’t we think of ?? its now on the list.
    – Can we show the list of members who are enroled for an event.
This one is on the list, but how we are going to show it, isn’t final. Maybe a new TinyMCE button, maybe a link at the bottom of the form, that slide out the participant list ??

Thanks a bunch for all your work on this… I am going to give it a shot today.. ??

Hello – first off, I’m very excited about this – I have a client that this is perfect for and I’m testing it out right now. The form is located on this page:

    Couple of questions:
    1. The email confirmation text provides a link that doesn’t work – is there a way to fix that? here’s what I received:
If you wish to withdraw your enrolment or if you’ve never have signed-up for the event. Please click the link below:
    https://www.joelmullenlaw.com/wp-admin/plugins/event-registration/cancel.php?id=3&uid=ANFIkFLCoNM (doesn’t work)
    2. Is there a way to fix the spelling error in the word “enrolment” should be ‘enrollment’
    3. Is there a way that the website owner can receive a copy of the registration in their email so they don’t have to go to the website to see if anyone has registered for their event?
    4. I would love the ‘submit’ button to be at the bottom of the form – I can’t seem to find where to change that. I tried to drop and drag, but it won’t stay when the form is created.
    5. The blank field at the top needs to have a field label for ’email’ and I can’t seem to do that – help?

This is pretty much what I’m running up against right now. I LOVE what you are doing and think this is going to be a great addition. I value your work and assistance. Thank you!

    Thanks lyrical ??

1, 2 and 4 has already been fix, but not released yet ??

Why we haven’t thought of sending a copy to the owner, I don’t know. Its now on the list.

I am going to look into your number on our list ??

I hope we have a real beta to release soon.
I have been playing around with a better layout for the form building page. The .pot file is also at couple of steps closer ??

We are still working on this, its just taking a longer time than expected ?? (Read: we have too much to do on our jobs)

I’ll be keeping my eye on this plugin, looks promising. One suggestion I have is the ability to create custom fields, and to include shopping cart buttons so attendees can both register and pay for event fees on the same form. It could be as simple as providing a custom field option that would accept and display code for a paypal “add to cart” and “view cart” buttons.

    keep up the good work!

@mowog: the custom field is on the list. We’ll look at the paypal buttons.
There will be a release of a beta version, this weekend.

A beta version, this weekend ? Good news !

fantastic functional work my man on the pre beta version. i hope the real beta will be a lot more straightforward in the form build section.

    Working on it right now.
The gettext and “re-layouting” of the form build page is what is missing.
Then a proper beta will be released ??

Well, any good releases is delayed… right? ??
Gettext is done (more will be added as the plugin evolves)
The build-form page need at bit of recoding, so redesigning it is not finished.

There has been a couple of error reports. One on a windows server, this has been fixed. The other one is a PHP4/PHP5, we’ll be working on compatibility with PHP4, but it isn’t highest on the list ??
Hosts should get there **** together and upgrade…

Sorry for the semi bad news.

Hi! Great plugin. I need some functionality which may be an easy tweak to accomplish. I need the ability to create users with the contributor role and allow them to get in and create events. These events would be subject to review. This is how posts work under the contributor role. Is there an easy tweak to the code?

    Well, why not.
As I see it, its not just tweak, but its on the list of future features now.

I think this is the plugin I have been waiting for but I am not sure, so this post is to get that clearified.

    WHAT DO I WANT?
I would like to create an event and show that on a page/post so that (registered) users (subscribers, editors, administrators) of the wordpress-site can choose to participate or decline attendance. I imageine they would do this by marking on the attandence list whether they will show up or not (and maybe leave a message). I would further like the plugin to show on a page who will show up. This view should be visible to all (or maybe even authority set) visitors of the page where the event is displayed.

Is this what you are trying to do with EventReg or should I look somewhere else?
