Event registration and payment

  • Looking for software suggestions for our monthly events: advertising them via email, registering people, and taking payments. Should link to zoom and connect with our website. Have been using WordPress with a lot of plug-ins but it has gotten too clunky and hard to use. Can you suggest alternatives? EventBrite emails get blocked because some platforms think it’s spam.

  • The site you provided already uses the FooEvents plugin. This is a commercial plugin, so I couldn’t install it to test it out. But the sales page claims to support all the features you mentioned, and many more.

    What specific problem do you have with this plugin for which you’re looking for an alternative? If it’s a technical issue, have you opened a support ticket with the folks you purchased the product from?

    If it’s a matter of this FooEvents plugin being “clunky” to you, then I’ll suggest testing out other events management plugins yourself — as “clunky” is very subjective, and no one can say what will or will not be clunky to you.
