Event recurrence by day of week or month?

    Can event recurrence be set to day of week or month? For example, we have an event the first Sunday of each month. I created the event on Sun, Aug 3 (first Sun in Aug) and set it to recur monthly. However, it recurred on Wed, Sep 3, and is set to recur again on Fri, Oct 3. So, it’s recurring by the numerical date, rather than day of the week.

    As another example, we have other events with schedules such as the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month.

    Google Calendar lets you choose between “day of the month” (such as day 3) and “day of the week (such as first Sunday). Is this possible with this plugin? If not, do any event plugins integrate nicely with your Exodus theme?

    There is currently no support in CTC for anything but weekly, monthly and annual recurrence. I’m looking at options for expanding event functionality in general. I’ll either make CTC more robust or encourage users to use a dedicated events plugin instead (with our themes at churchthemes.com having styling built-in).
