Event Page Includes wrong Title

    Why do the event detail pages on my website include the title of other events. It appears the plugin is actually using an archive template instead of a single template. How can change this?

    It looks like there’s something funky about your template, though I’m not sure what it is. It may not be using the standard template tags to fetch the event title. It’s not an archive template, however – it’s the single post template.

    You can use a custom template for events, if you wish; a template file in your theme named single-mc-events.php would take the place of your default template.

    I can confirm that it is using the single template but for some reason it is pulling data for more than one post. The title being used is for a different post than the content that is displayed.

    Great! Glad to hear it.

    I am having the same problem. It started when I activated pretty permalinks.
    It just takes another title.

    What was the solution?

    @georgi-tsvetkov – I had the same problem, and seem to have resolved it by creating new events and deleting the old ones. Prior to figuring that out, I updated to the latest version of the plugin (I’m currently using v3.2.10 on WP 5.6)
