    Hey

I just installed this brilliant plugin today, and after a few bumps it seems to work fine. There is just a few things I can’t seem to get straight, and one thing are bugging me in perticular; When I click on an event to go to it’s page there is some stuff on the bottom of the page for some reason.

    1. Bellow the info there is a search field, a list over the sites pages, archives and categories. I wan’t them gone if possible. If you can help me with this I would be most thankful.

Here is a link to clarify.

    2. A less important matter is that the content of the calendar align slightly off from what i should be. If you look at the page and click some of the pages in the meni and compare it with the calendar view and eventpage you see that the calendar is further to th right than the main pages, and the event page is further to the left. Is there a way to at least make it consistent if not same as main pages?

    Thanks!

  • I’m having the same issue!

Here’s a sample (just installed and activated today)

    https://www.mkcrochet.com/event/tnna-the-national-needlearts-association/

For item 1 you need to look at the template you are using for events. The “stuff” is your stuff, not TEC stuff

For 2 look at the CSS – all alignment issues are down to the interaction of various bits of CSS

If a sidebar has been pushed to the foot of the page look at “clear” entries in the CSS

    Thanks for the assist, bolide!

motones/porra: does Nick’s note there help you out?

Thank you so very much for the response.

I looked over my template settings for the calendar and it had been set to “default events template” – the site map appears to be coming in just on the individual events page:

I switched it to “default page template” instead and that seems to have cleared things up.

    Cheers!

Thanks for the help! Such an easy fix! Nice, it helped to both issues, excellent!

Glad to hear this got you both squared away. Thanks for confirming as much, and for using The Events Calendar. If you need anything else in the future please let us know.

I’m using the default events template, and it works – sort of.
There is something wrong in the header to cause the navigation to stack on top of itself.
Also, the footer is messed up and makes the footer go crazy wide.
Also, when I click into events, it displays a site map or something on the right side.
I tried all the other templates, but none seem to work.
Ideas? I’m using the Oxygen theme.

Hey there frenat. Your last post is weirdly entirely empty for me, but it looks like the other items you noted in your first post are already being tracked in other threads. Let’s keep the discussion going in one of those, if it’s alright with you, just so we don’t create any confusion. Thanks in advance for your help on that end.
