    Hi,

    Thanks for this plugin, which is great and extremely easy to use!

    I had just one question. How can I modify the event page layout?
    Is it possible to display the featured image in the events list?

    If I include the word “CONTENTS” in a table, it shows “no event” on the page.
    When I use this shortcode: [events_list_grouped limit=5 pagination=1 category=58]#_EVENTNAME
    – #_EVENTDATES @ #_EVENTTIMES[/events_list_grouped] or [events_list scope=”future” limit=5 pagination=1 category=58] the search bar takes the entire width of the page (even if I include it in a table with a column width fixed at 66% for instance).

    It would be great if you could tell me if I can do anything about it (like featuring the events list with featured image, search bar and calendar) – (maybe it’s only possible with the paid version).

    Thanks in advance for your help!

  • Hi,

    This can all be done with the free version of the plugin.

    Take a look the shortcodes and placeholders:
    https://wp-events-plugin.com/documentation/shortcodes/
    https://wp-events-plugin.com/documentation/placeholders/

    You probably want to use #_EVENTIMAGE.

    Can you clarify what you mean by “If I include the word “CONTENTS” in a table”? Thanks.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the quick answer!

    On the event page, if I insert “CONTENTS” in plain html text, it show the event list.
    It says that I can write around “CONTENTS” and it will still shows the list. If I write something around “CONTENTS”, it will only display the events list.
    In the same manner, if I put “CONTENTS” in a table:
    <table border=”0″>
    <tbody>
    <tr>
    <td>CONTENTS</td>
    ….

    It will show the event list on a full page (full width).

    I hope I’m a bit more clear, let me know if I’m not.

    Thanks again for your help,
    T

    in you wp page > events; word CONTENTS will be overridden by the EM (events list table) however you can write anything above or below it.

    eg.

    sample text
    CONTENTS

    also, to change formats; you can go to Events > Settings > Formatting > Events
