Event Organiser Display Category Name As Archive Title

In Event Organiser I’m trying to display the Event Category name in the “events-page-title” section of my archive-event.php but can’t figure out how to do this.

Is there a way of getting Event Organiser to output an Event Category’s name or does this have to be a query on the taxonomy?

This is such a basic requirement – I take it I’ve “missed” something or just having an “off moment” (for the last 2 hours!) so apologies in advance. Any help is gratefully accepted. Thanks
