Event notification

    Hi there, I’m using Very Simple Event list to list events at our local Town Hall. What I’d like to do now is include a facility for sending notifications to subscribers when a new Event is added.
    I’ve tried several plugins for this, however, they all seem to fall short in one way or another. For example, Post Notif is almost what I want, except it doesn’t work with Events in the way that it works with standard Posts.
    Can you suggest a plugin that is compatible with Very Simple Event list, that would allow me to easily send notifications when events are added/updated?

    Hi Stephen,

    You should find a plugin that accepts so called custom post types too. Did you already try this one or this one?

    Thanks for the quick reply and the suggestions – I believe that I tried the first one a while back, I’ll check again as I may have missed something.
