  • Is the download tracking working? I have it enabled but the only thing that shows up under events in my GA is clicks on pages. The appropriate file extensions are set in the settings

I’m having the same issue and I believe identified the problem:

Specifically I’m referring to tracking internal urls as events.

When the URL is written as an absolute url (httpwww.domain.com/folder/event) the tracking code is injected correctly.

However when a relative url is used (/folder/event) the tracking code is not inserted.

This is a major issue, both because relative urls are much more convenient and used frequently, but also more desireable if there’s a change of switching domain names in the future. Relative URL’s can switch domains with no problem, but absolute URLS would require us to go through and update all links 1-by-1.

    Please fix this.
