When people click Events from the main menu they are immediately prompted for a login and Password. We would like the events to be displayed to the general public. Is there an option or setting that needs to be changed in order for this to happen?

Or is this something the previous web developer added in? Tips for where to look would be appreciated

    Thanks.

I think this is something the developer added; there’s no native setting to do this.

Alright thanks, I been searching the options and variables. I wanted to be sure I didn’t miss something. Thanks.

    hi,

you can try to set the events listing page private or password protected under WP Pages or when creating or updating events.

It turns out there was a SOAP plugin that was controlling which pages were password protected. Problem resolved. Thanks
