event listing by date and date

    Hello,

    I’m new to ACF and want to use it it for a list (category) of sorted events by date and time. Not the creation date of a post should create the positioning in an event list. The date and time which is given in a custom field should be responsible for the positioning. Newest event on top … I don’t want to use an event plugin for this. From my understanding ACF should be the right tool for it.

    But unfortunately it can’t get it work. Does anybody has a tutorial for “listing events in a category by date and time”. And is it neccessary to add aditional code for this in the function.php.
