    Hi Darren,
i`m following your tutorial on building an Upcoming Events Page – and it works perfectly!

However, if i change meta_compare to “<” or “<=”, the shortcode gets printed in the frontend. See Screenshot

The idea is to create an “Events Archive” Page, listing all the past events.

Am i doing something wrong? Could you please take a look when you have time?

    Thanks & best regards! andi

    Hi @andiszek,
Yes, this is an issue but I have fix. You can use ‘lessthan’ or ‘lessthanequalto’ for these shortcode values.

The issue is when you use a shortcode not using do_shortcode it converts < to an an HTML element.

    Cheers,

    Hi Darren,
thank you, using “lessthan” or “lessthanequalto” works very well!
