Event List Widget Not Displaying Properly

I liked that I could easily create a calendar and include upcoming events using this plugin. However, after adding the widget to the front page, the “Upcoming Events” widget is separated from the text of the homepage by a border. I did not want this, I wanted the Upcoming Events to run beside any text I input on the homepage. This currently isn’t the case, as you can see.

I need to know how to remove this border and I would rate it higher…
