    Hi mtporter! Please provide the URL to the page with the shortcode so we can take a look.

    I’m trying to replace this site https://www.cheoknox.org with a wordpress site with the membershipworks plugin for the directory. Just wish there was a way to show the thumbnail, short description of the event and date for events coming up on the frontpage just like the club express site that the cheoknox.org is currently on. the [eventwidget] displays in a column and now in a row.

    Hi mtporter! The eventwidget can display the thumbnail, title and date. However it cannot display a short description. The eventwidget is output as a list with minimal formatting, to allow the developer to style the widget as they see fit. It may be that the thumbnail is not appearing due to a CSS issue. Without being able to view the page in question we cannot determine the issue for you, but you can inspect the DOM elements and CSS rules to determine if the thumbnail image element exists and whether it is hidden due to CSS.

    OHhhhh

    I replaced the slated ” with ”

    but now there needs to be a break between image and title of event (as well like to rid the bullet)

    Hi mtporter!

    The event list widget does not contain any CSS in order to allow developers to style it as they see fit. As a courtesy, here are the CSS rules to introduce a break between image and title and to remove the bullet points:

    img.event-thumb{display:block}
    ul.sf_widget_event_list{list-style-type:none}
