    It still works as a widget. I have now helped myself with that. But it would be nice if it would work normally as a shortcode again.

    Hi Stephan !

    Thanks for reaching out.

    That’s odd. What happens when you disable all plugins but SportsPress? Also, are you running the latest SP and Rookie versions?

    Thanks!

    Hi Roch,
    i have disabled all plugins. Now Only Sportspress is running. And it is the same. I also Created here a new Event List: https://s4-revolution.de/test/ it is also empty.
    I also have the newest updates of SP and Rookie instaled.

    Greatings

    @funger78

    There are still a lot of plugins activated.
    responsive-lightbox
    stats-manager
    tablepress

    Is this being added to this page as a League Menu ?
    If so, for some reason there is some javascript missing on your page that renders the league menu.

    The error on the page is being thrown from the jquery.datatables.js file here :
    https://s4-revolution.de/wp-content/plugins/sportspress/assets/js/jquery.dataTables.min.js
    after if check to see if the table has values or not.

    Does the table display properly in the backend when you build it?

    Strangest to me is that your site does not have any errors in the console.

    @corrinarusso
    I tested it with all plugins off, and then i turned them on again.
    Now there are all off again.

    Before I update to WordPress 5.4 all works fine.
    I added the event list in the Editor with the SportsPress Button -> Events -> List

    This is the first on the Starting Page:
    [event_list id=”undefined” title=”n?chste Spiele 1. Liga” team=”0″ league=”26″ season=”3″ venue=”0″ status=”future” format=”default” date=”range” date_from=”default” date_to=”default” date_past=”” date_future=”7″ date_relative=”1″ day=”” number=”10″ order=”default” columns=”event,teams,time,league,season,venue” show_all_events_link=”0″ align=”none”]

    @funger78
    Well, weird.

    Does it display in the backend, or in Preview mode when you are logged in ?
    You could always roll your WP version back. (not recommended)

    Thread Starter funger78

    (@funger78)

    In the Preview it is the same result.
    I try to roll back. I haven’t done this before, but google is my friend.

    There’s a plugin for it, but personally I would do it manually. It’s not hard. Backup first!

    But again, that’s not a solution. Also, I’m sure @rochesterj or @savvas would prefer to see your issue while it is still live and provide comment.

    Thank you first, I’ll leave it as it is that they can look again.
    What I’m most very happy with is that I’m the only one with the problems. And in the widget it goes.

    Hi Stephan!

    I think it’s safer if you roll back your WP version. Then you can create a test site so we can see that issue.

    In general, we strongly recommend a test site either way. This allows you to test plugin updates, new plugins and other big changes without breaking your live site.

    Thanks!

    @rochesterj
    I’m going to do it tomorrow, I’m not going to do that today. I can also make a test page.
    Thank you first

    Hello Roch,
    Sorry for my Google translator English.
    I have now tested the whole thing and the problem was the update from SportsPress 2.7 to 2.7.1.
    First I downgraded WordPress from 5.4 to 5.3.2 and there was no change, after that I downgraded SportsPress from 2.7.1 to 2.7 and everything went fine.
    I set up 2 test pages, one with WordPress 5.4 and SportsPress 2.7: https://test3.fischerstephan.de/
    and once WordPress 5.4 with SportsPress 2.7.1: https://test4.fischerstephan.de/

    As soon as I downgrade from SP 2.7.1 to 2.7 everything works again.

    The whole thing should actually be reproducible by you, at least I hope. I leave the 2 pages as they are online if you want to see something.

    On my system I will now continue to run SportsPress 2.7, maybe it will be fixed with the next update anyway.

    I hope I could help you with something about the bug, I don’t think I’m the only one with the problem.

    I was able to help me now.

    Kind regards

    Hi @funger78 ,

    Can you try to create a Calendar with layout set to “list” with the same settings as you are using with the shortcode? Is it working that way?

    Thanks,
    Savvas

    @savvasha
    Hello Savvas,
    I have set the calendar list on both test pages.
    This function can also be used with SportsPress 2.7.1.
    But I prefer to use the shortcode path because I have many lists on one page that I can simply copy and paste and then only have to change them minimally.

    Kind regards
    Stephan Fischer
