This is the third event plugin I have tried using. No matter the plugin after I create an event the link to the event results in a 404 “Page Not Found”. I am trying to get this plugin working a fresh new installation with popular sports theme applied. I’ve tried adding the short code to display an events list to a page called “Events”. No matter what I do the page continues to show most recent blog posts.

    Hi toxictank,

It seems like permalink issue. Please reset.

    For reset, go to:

    1. Setting > Permalinks
    2. [NOTE: Be remembered your selected option]
    3. Select Default option, hit save.
    4. Select Your previously selected option, hit save again.

Check If the detail page is working & if not do let us know.

    Thanks & Regards,

You nailed it. That was the issue. I had to leave the permalinks as plain with url strings. Does not work if I have SEO friendly urls. If I change the permaliklnk it will not work. I’m operational now though so thank you.

    Hi toxictank,

Kindly check rewrite permissions of URL of your server because it seems issue resides in server settings not in Simple Event Planner plugin.

Let us know for further assistance from us!

    Good Luck!

    Thanks & Regards,
