    Hi team,

you have created a beautiful calendar with a wonderful presentation of events scaled over several days. Love it – think of bying the pro version.

But I have to know first, if there is a possibility to solve this issue:

If I click on an event on the frontside in the full calendar view, I am directed to the event page. Is there an option to direct the link to one of my custom pages? A small box with a link override in every event would solve that – some other calendars have that.

Would be great, cause I can′t access the event pages with my AVIA page builder, and this would solve the issue.

    Best regards

Yes, you can use this hook to filter the event calendar link: https://codex.wp-event-organiser.com/hook-eventorganiser_calendar_event_link.html.

You would need to determine a method of mapping event ID to the intended page ID (e.g. storing the page ID as an event custom field).

(Please ignore the comment at the top saying it is for the admin calendar, this is not the case, it is just for the front-end fullcalendar)

Also, please note that the calendar is cached so changes will not take effect immediately. You can update an event to clear the cache.

    Hope that helps!

    Hello Stephen,

great thanx! That should help and solve the problem.

In the meanwhile I considered a workaround with “SEO Redirection” (works well), but to reduce plugins I am thankful for your solution.

    Great support!
