Event Instance Date

Is there a way to display the date of the reoccurring date that the visitor clicked on on that event’s page, say they clicked on the date a couple months in advance… the third Wednesday of the month, and they clicked on the instance of the event on… April 19th… can the resultant page display that date… April 19th? In the page template… eo_get_the_occurrence seems like the one, but it doesn’t return the instance of the event’s date they clicked on.
