Event greyed out. Post date 1970/01/01

  • Hi, Thanks for your plugin. I have used it on several sites now and my clients love it!

    So, I have a new site and it wasn’t working and I couldn’t understand why. I deleted the event under the plugin as I kept getting a 404 error message on the event post. I then realized it was a permalink issue so I changed the permalink to %post%. I tried to get the event back from the trash but I don’t see it in the trash. So I uninstalled the plugin and reinstalled. The event is there but it is greyed out on the calendar and doesn’t show in the Upcoming Events widget. The date posted also says 1970/01/01 unlike my other sites and their events. Please advise.

  • I had the same problem I think, at least the dates on my events were the same. I found some entries in the wp_wpmeetup_events table in the database that had “NULL” in the “post_id” column.

    Deleting those entries from the database and then doing and “Update Event Posts” in the plugin settings solved the problem.
