In the list view I have multiple events that are listed in the wrong month. I’m running WordPress 6.2.1 with The Events Calendar 6.0.13.1 on PHP 7.4. A event for the 25th of may is listed in june, another one for the 28th of may is also listed in june. I have no cache plugin running and already rebuild my permalinks. What is happening ?

    Dear Erica,

I made an exact duplicate to a staging server, disabled all the plugins and switched to the default Twenty Twenty?theme and the issue is still there, see: https://staging.barokkeinfluencers.be/programma/ . Event for May are added to June in the list view. Browsercache has also been cleared.

Just one more thing: on the stagin server I just added a new event (testevent) for the 20th may 2023, it is added to june straight away, see: https://i.imgur.com/e6BhSTO.png

    Hi @ronnyvanderborght

I’m wondering if this is related to the latest version of WordPress. Could you try downgrading your WP version to 6.2 and see if that makes a difference?

If that doesn’t help, may I know when you first noticed this issue? I want to check it further on my side.

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Dear Darian,

I downgraded to 6.2 using the WP Downgrade plugin. No change I’m afraid. I added a new testevent for May 23th and it is again added to June, see: https://i.imgur.com/NLspp1t.png

I’m not sure when this happened for the first time, my clients just mentioned this last week but it could already have happened before.

    Hi @ronnyvanderborght

I noticed that you’re using the 2022 theme. Could you try activating the twenty-twenty theme and see if that makes a difference?

If that doesn’t help, could you try manually updating the plugins (again) and see if that helps?

Moreover, please also provide the values of the following from your system information (Events > Troubleshooting)

    Dear Darian,

The theme: my mistake… I now isntalled Twenty twenty. But the issue remains (see: https://i.imgur.com/ZiYxZ6r.png) . Even a manual update does not resolve it.

    Hi @ronnyvanderborght

It seems you’re using PHP 8.1. Could you try downgrading your PHP version to 8.0 and see if that makes a difference? (Please test this first on your staging site)

Moreover, please also try to activate only The Events Calendar plugin and check if that helps. Looking forward to your reply.

    Thread Starter ronnyvanderborght

    (@ronnyvanderborght)

I was on PHP 7.6 before when I first noticed the issue. I just upgraded to 8.1 to make sure it wasn’t a old PHP version thing. I now turned off all the plugins except The Events Calendar plugin, the problem is still there. See: https://staging.barokkeinfluencers.be/programma/

    Hi @ronnyvanderborght

Thanks for your response, and my sincerest apologies for the inconvenience.

Would it be possible to try to re-do the migration from your staging site? This is to recreate the proper event data and should probably fix the issue.

Here are the steps to revert and re-do the migration:

    1. Update to the latest versions of The Events Calendar and Events Calendar Pro.
    2. Remove any un-needed draft events and empty the Trash.
    3. Install and activate the Code Snippets plugin.
    4. Add this snippet and run it once (be sure it does not stay activated).
    5. Go to Events > Settings > Upgrades and go through the migration process again.

Please re-do the migration on your staging site.

Let me know how it goes.

    Dear Darian,

    Thank you for your help.

After doing re-doing this migration the probleem seems to be resolved in the staging site. I now also re-actived all the other plugins and actived my custom theme and it seems to continue working. I finally updated to WP 6.2.2 and it still continues to work. I think it is safe to say that re-doing the migration solves the issue.

Is it safe to do this on the live site now ?

    Hi @ronnyvanderborght

Yes, I think that it’s safe to redo the migration in your live site. Just make sure you have a backup of your site before doing so.

Let me know how it goes.
