    WordPress Version: 6.6.1
    EventPrime Version: 4.0.4.2

    Hello,

I have a problem with the event details page and have no idea where I have to check the correct shortcodes etc. We are using EventPrime for some months and everything works fine, but with the version 4 update everything got messed up.

Currently, we provide an overview grid layout where the upcoming events are listed. That’s fine so far. But when I click on an event, it gets redirected to the wrong page. Die URL seems to be okay, but differs from the one on your demo page. All events list to a page in this pattern:

That’s quite nice. But a click on it redirects to a wrong page, which I configured to be a draft, which is why normal users see a 404 page.

What I want is to see the detail page as in your demo: https://demo.theeventprime.com/events/?event=1402

To have the slug for an event name, is quite nice, but not necessary. Where can I configure the redirection and what do I have to do to get this event details page back to work? Worked everything as expected in Version 3.

    Thanks and best regards
    Christian

    1. Navigate to the EventPrime settings by going to EventPrime -> Settings -> Page tab.
    2. In the “Events” section, please ensure that the events-2 page is selected as the designated Events page.
    3. Verify that the events-2 page is not assigned to any other pages.
4.Please ensure that the event-2 page contains the required shortcode [em_events].
5.Permalink Settings: Go to Settings > Permalinks in WordPress. Even if it’s already set to Post Name, please click Save Changes to refresh the settings.

If the issue persist please let us know. We are here to help.

Thank You for your advice. It seems, that deactivating “the Event calendar” resolved the conflict. Now it wokrs as expected.

    Thank you very much.
