Event date is being changed when published

Hi Bram,

Did you already check the dates at page Settings > General:
Universal time is 2019-12-13 15:53:51. Local time is 2019-12-13 16:53:51.

Is it the same day?

If yes, are you using DIVI builder perhaps?

Yes, the dates are set correct.
Yes, we are using DIVI.

WP = 5.3.1–nl_NL
Very Simple Event List = 10.9

Hi Bram,

This might be a conflict with DIVI (or a third party plugin for DIVI), can you set date format via Settings > General at “UTC” and try again?

Currently I do have a fix and I will update plugin later this week.

I also have contact with the developer of a third party DIVI plugin, will keep you informed.

I changed the Settings from local (Amsterdam) to UTC+1.
(which results in the correct date-setting for us)

Problem solved!

Hi Bram,

Europe/Amsterdam and UTC+1 = the same. This means a plugin is changing the default timezone setting of WordPress. FYI: UTC+1 is not really a timezone, that’s why this behavior only happens when a real timezone such as Europe/Amsterdam is set.

Are you using the “Divi Display Logic” plugin perhaps? That one causes the conflict in my case.
