Event CSV import not matching existing Events

  • Hi,

    We have successfully used a CSV to import events ahead of time, and then have attempted to use another CSV to add results later. We have made sure “Date”, “Time”, “Venue” and “Teams” have the same data, albeit separated by a few rows because of the players now added.

    However, the second import does not match and overwrite the existing scheduled events, it instead creates new events, in essence, duplicates. Is there some way to get the second CSV to match the existing events?

    It can’t overwrite events as far as I know. The WordPress importer only allows you to add new data, not to edit data. So in your case you case you could delete the old ones and add them again via CSV
