    Is there a shortcode / plugin / widget that will work with Event plugin to show a count down day to the event start date

    Sadly We don’t have any countdown timers for events. You could probably do this with a combination of other plugins or via custom coding. As a start you could use one of our placeholders to display an event time+date in any format that is required by your countdown timer. You could use the placeholder “#_{x} or #@_{x}” which can be found under: https://wp-events-plugin.com/documentation/placeholders/
