Event Comments not visible on site

    Hi. For some reason, comments posted on my Events Calendar are not visible.

    The link below shows an event with what appears to be no comments. However, two comments have been posted – this is visible on the homepage sidebar which highlights the comment authors but doesn’t make the comments visible.

    The Show Comments box is ticked in Settings so I’m not sure what is going on.

    Please advise!

    Which template do you use?
    Only the default template for events shows comments.
    It can be change in settings.

    Hi.

    Yes, it’s the Default Template using ‘Tribe Events Styles’ as the default stylesheet.

    So, in theory, comments should show, yes?

    Yes it should.
    But on my sites, the templates name is- Default Events Template.

    Yup, same on mine.

    Still confused why I can’t see comments…perhaps others will know…

    Anyone from Modern Tribe out there that can offer help?

    Which version of The Events Calendar are you using?

    Do you get a different result if you temporarily change themes?

    Hi Ed.

    I approved your post. As you’ll see, your details appear on the Home Page under Recent Comments but you cannot view your post.

    When you say ‘change themes’, do you mean change Event Calendar settings (under Basic Template Settings) or by changing to a completely different theme (I use Genesis)?

    I’m using Events Calendar 4.7.4
