Event Chronological Order Problem

    Hello,

    I’m having issues where the events are not in order by date. The last event shown on the page was added last, and I was under the impression it would filter in chronological order, instead of order it was created by.

    Is there a way for events to be shown by date and not by order it was created?

    The problem is still when click on one of the event types. thais is when “/event_listing_type/” appears in the URL.

    The shortcode part orderby=”event_start_date” works only partly.

    -> For events which have the start date and end date at the same day, it works.
    -> However, if you have a multi day event with start date and end date on a different day, it mikes up the chronological order completely and multi day events are displayed first instead of in their right place.

    Plugin version in use: 3.1.22

    Any hints here?

    Solved – adding an end date to each event solves the issue. Order is correct.

    I’m having the same and more problems.

    1-Event Start Date is not working properly
    2-Upcoming events do not show any events even though they are later dates. Error: There are no events matching your search
    3-Hide expired listings in event archive/search is checked. But it still shows old events.

    For solution:
    1-I added the end dates.
    2- I tried with shortcode and elementor.
    3-I tried changing the Date and Time settings.

    I didn’t get any results.

    Wordpress: Last Version
    Elementor: Last Version

    FYI: It was solved for me after adding a start time to every event. So I guess this is a bug
