Event Category pages/lists not formatting correctly.

have you tried options page at Events > Settings > Pages > Event Categories > Categories page and/or Formatting > Event Categories?

Yes, i’ve tried all of those, and cant seem to find where the formats are being pulled from. So strange and frustrating. Please help.

when you say “formats”;did you mean the css styling?

No, i mean the formats, for example, currently it displays date, time and the link to the event. I want it to display image linked to event, title linked to event, date, time and an excerpt followed by another link to the event. i added it in to the field, but it’s not displaying. instead it is pulling the formats from somewhere else and i cant find where.

To me, it looks like you correctly found the right place to style your category pages, because a normal WP theme wouldn’t style the events that way.

You should find all the formats you need to change in

Events > Settings > Formatting > Event Categories

have you tried something like this

maybe you have a caching plugin enabled? If so, you need to purge the cache so the page content is regenerated.
