I have hooked up a Gravity Forms form to allow users to submit new events, using the gform_after_submission / tribe_create_event method in the Gravity Forms documentation.

Everything works fine when a logged-in user submits the form. But when a logged-out user submits the form, the event is created with a title and description, but the organizer, venue and categories for the event don’t save with the event.

Not sure if I’m missing an error somewhere, but I can’t find one. Is there something else I need to pass for tribe_create_event specifically for non-logged-in users?

  • Hey there,

    Thanks for reaching out ??

Sorry for the wait! We’ve been experiencing a high volume of support requests.

I think the issue here is user permissions, you’ll have to allow non-users permission to create venues, categories, and organizers.

    Take care,
    Ed ??
