Event Categories not shown in Gutenberg Editor

might be conflict with Gutenberg Editor and custom taxonomies however at the moment we are quite limited with regards to other plugin or theme as per the support policy.

I am also having this issue. Events Manager said that all the functionality should be available in Gutenberg in their latest release.
I don’t have any custom taxonomies other than what events manager must use.

It looks like the plugins isn’t adding show_in_rest = true to the register_taxonomy() calls, so the tags/categories doesn’t show up in the REST API. That’s why Gutenberg doesn’t display them.

Thanks Ian, the trick with 'show_in_rest' => true, did it for me…

It would be nice if this is going to be fixed soon!

Can anyone clue me in as to what code I can add to code snippets to enable the category editor? This is still an issue.
