We used you are “The Events Calendar” plugin Version 5.1.0 to create events, Currently, we face the content editor issue, WPBakery Page Builder plugin not working on the events post page. When we try to create a new event or editing old events, we see broke the content and WPBakery code into the editor, Please check the issue and send a solution of the error.

    check the screenshot: https://nimb.ws/za82eb

We have confirmed this issue with WP- bakery support as well.

    system information:

    WP bakery response:

When we investigate it further, the browser console at your end shows the following error from the events plugin:
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘addClass’ of undefined https://staging.issvd.org/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/common/src/resources/js/dropdowns.min.js
It will require further debugging into the event plugin to identify the exact code causing the issue. Once found, a custom js code can be written to handle the same. Unfortunately, debugging the third party plugin code is beyond our support reach.

  • Hi @fswebsupport do you solve your problem? i have the same.

    solved problem for me.
    i’m use Salient Theme.
disable the Select2 library from the Salient options panel > form styling tab by turning off the option titled “Enable Fancy Select Styling” to allow compatibility with the plugin as well
