Event Calendar

  • I know there are tons of plugins for calendars in wordpress, but I am looking to see if any of you have used one with the specific functionality of allowing visitors to submit events to an event calendar, and allowing admin on the backend to approve it before it gets published?

    Can someone recommend something?

  • For the submitting events, I would use the tdo-forms plugin. It allows you to embed custom fields into submitted posts, so you should be able to tie it together with a calendar plugin.

    hmmm. I’m not really a hardcore wordpress coder/programmer, I was moreso looking for a plugin that already kind of worked out of the box like this. Any other ideas?

    Thanks for your response whalesharkwebsites, i might have to look into that if I don’t find anything.
