Are the two sites completely identical? If so, how did you copy from test to live (or vice versa)?

This error suggests a permissions issue so ensure that the permissions settings for EM are identical for a start.

Okay, but can you go through how you actually copied the sites please?

There are many intricacies that can be missed if a migration isn’t done properly.

i have copied the original files from my demo server as a zip file and uploaded the files into live server and extracted the files, this way i copied and moved the files

is it possible to do the following to narrow down the problem?

– deactivating all other plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
– switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems

Unfortunately I really cant switch themes, this site is older before I really started doing version control. I do know though it’s works after I flush my permalinks.

Could it be a caching error? I do use also use CloudFlare on MT.

I am also having this problem and have found 10 threads from people with the same problem but NO RESOLUTION.

There has to be a better solution than blindly throwing darts at a dartboard (i.e. turn off all your plugins & try with the default theme).

I’ve seen suggestions of “permissions errors”–OK, so what should the permission settings be in order to allow anonymous posting of events?
