Event Banner size (preferred)?

    Greetings!
    I’m still trying out WP Event Manager before I give it a rating. This is my second issue I’ve encountered so far.
    Can someone please tell me what is the preferred banner image size?
    I provided an image that was 846(w) x 1200(h) px. But it does not show up. There’s just a big blank space on the left side where the image would be in event detail view.
    Therefore in the event listing, it shows up as a small gray square icon.

    I then cropped the image to 844 x 426px but still the same effect. So if you could at least make a note in your documentation on what the preferred image dimensions should be, at least users can go about uploading images with the correct dimensions. Another event had a banner image of 980 × 1391 pixels and that shows correctly so it would be good to know what is the optimal image size for event banners.

    I’m going to do some cropping to see if I can find a size that will work for the image I mentioned earlier.

    Ok, I just resized image to 564x800px, but that did not work either. Not showing on event details page or listing. ;-(
    Will try to crop a part of this new image size to see. hmmmnn.

    Update:
    I just cropped the image a final time to 560x284px and still the same result: image not showing up in event details page or event listings. ;-(

    Please note that event listings is using Full Width page template since I have control over that. Is there a way to force single event details page to use full width template instead of the Default which has a right sidebar? Maybe the full width would allow the image to render and show up. I will do a search here to see how to do that.

    But my advice to the authour(s) of this plugin, it’s the little, simple things that matter the most to users less experienced than myself. This would be a definite deal breaker for most newbies.

    Image banner width is not just depends on our plugin it depends on which theme and what layout is set up. If you are using full width then you are able to use bigger side of banner or slider. In some case you have sidebar then event banner will automatically adjust according to your width.

    Can you please provide link of your single event page i will find the proper resolution for you.

    We can’t force this from our plugin because single post template of any post type is comes from theme so we have to depends on your theme. Most of the theme’s have sidebar enable disable functionality.

    Can you please change the below css according to your theme or banner? 

    .wpem-single-event-page .wpem-single-event-wrapper .wpem-single-event-header-top .wpem-event-single-image-wrapper .wpem-event-single-image img {
    width: 900px;
    height: 500px;
}

    Add some events and banner and change that CSS to auto or specific to your style.
    Let me know if you still need an exact size?

    I would suggest you 500×500 size of the image.

    I am having issues with my image size on the single event listing page and have been unable to address it. Also, the alignment of my page has become corrupt since the upgrade.

    The image should be left aligned in the first column but seems to be above the two columns full width.
