• Hi,

I’ve been reading about permalink problems in other threads like this and this, however, I couldn’t resolve my problem this way.

My archive event permalinks are not working fine. Just after saving permalink options, they are working well. But, some minutes after, they fail again.
My calendar events archive page have this permalink: /eventos/mes. If I visit it, it’s redirecting to a post that starts with “mes” word.
Is there any way to solve this? Maybe changing the /eventos/mes permalink? How can I do this?

I have this permalink custom settings, can it have any relation? /%year%/%monthnum%/%postname%.html. For the moment I can’t change it because my client’s blog have thousands of visits every hour, I don’t want to lose links for this.

    Thanks

  • Sounds like it could be an issue either with that custom permalink setting, which I think we can fairly say is rather unusual, or else a conflict with another plugin or your theme.

Do note that both of the threads you linked to were rather old and one in fact relates to a completely different plugin. However, starting with the basics and deactivating all other plugins and switching to a default theme is a great way to proceed here – if that doesn’t resolve it then testing with a more conventional permalink like /%postname%/ (on a testing site if you cannot do so on the live site) is a good way to go.
