even and odd colorized citatation lines

hi and thank you for this plugin that saves me a hudge lot of time, no kidding.
Everything works fine but has anyone a solution to get the citations in alternate color lines for better reading.
It’s a div with no li nor tr, and I’m not finding how to use nth-child with div, maybe with some js.
Thanks for any help!
