I took the liberty to contribute and share my changes on Nijst Wim’s original work. The resulting file is the same schedule translated to English. Also the image files have been renamed.

Hello,

When I import your files (Dutch as well as English version) I get a time difference.
For example the first match France – Romania is imported with UTC time 21:00, but 21:00 is the local time of the match.
The result is that the local time is imported as 23:00.

Am I doing something wrong or are the files wrong and should al times be added with 2 hours extra?

I had the same problem here and have changed the time matches manually to make it work for me. (10 minutes work to change)

And be sure your time settings in the Football Pool plugin are correct….

Seems that the files are wrong indeed (I didn’t check them). I will correct the files for the next version.

Simple way to correct the times is to run the following query on your database:

UPDATE pool_wp_matches SET play_date = play_date - INTERVAL 2 HOUR

(correct table name if you’re using a different database prefix)

First of thanks for the match files. I have one problem, i have uploaded the english txt file to Matches but for some reason flags, team and stadium pictures are not working. What is wrong?

You have to download the images (link is in the txt file) and upload them to the WordPress uploads dir (this location has changed since plugin version 2.5.2).

e.g. “/wp-content/uploads/football-pool/flags” for the team flags.
