EU VAT Assistant VIES Report Blank

The reports from the EU VAT Assistant can only show the information that was collected by the plugin after it was activated. They won’t display data from orders you received before that moment.

You will just have to keep the EU VAT Assistant active, and it will start collecting data from new orders automatically. You will then be able to run the VIES reports.

Thanks Diego. Our EU VAT Assistant has been active for some months now and gives us information in other VAT reports but the VIES reports are still blank. Are we missing something?

Unless you haven’t received any orders from customers with a valid EU VAT number, the VIES reports should show you the data it collected. We use that feature regularly (we originally developed the EU VAT Assistant for our own use), and the reports are populated as expected.

Unfortunately, it’s difficult to diagnose what the issue could be, without more details, as there are several possible explanations for the glitch. Perhaps some data is missing, or some error is preventing the report from being generated.
