    Hello,

originally planed starting with January 2021 the vat e-commerce package is postponed to July 2021.
From this date selling goods from one EU member state to another EU member state must be taxed in the country of the customer with the tax rate of this country applied. (before the regulation takes place it is the tax rate of the country the supplier is located as long the suppliers anual turnover is below a certain treshold (Directive 2017/2455)).

So my question is, will there be a function in germanized or pro to import all the actual EU tax rates and keep them uptodate?
Will there also be a function to export a monthly CSV sales report by countries which can be used for the fiscal summary message needed for the OSS (former MOSS)?

Or is this an issue with woocommerce at all?

Thanks for helping clearifying this questions
    Tom

    Hi Tom,

as well as I’m concerned this issue does only affect digital products (and/or services) and not physical goods. This is exactly what MOSS is about and is handled via the virtual VAT rates already included in Germanized?

    Cheers

    Hi,

starting with 1st of July this will also apply to physical products when the anual turnover is above €10K to all EU countries other then the shop is based in!
    MOSS will become EU-OSS

    Hi there,

you should fill a new issue within the official Woo GitHub Repo to make sure that Woo is aware of this issue (which will not only affect german shop owners but all EU shop owners): https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce

    Cheers
