Etsy issue – Listing items but with WARNING text

    Hi there

    I’m getting the following copy before the items from my Etsy shop:

    It’s also worth noting that the currency is showing the $ USD sign but the numbers are in the GBP (￡) e.g. an item in my shop costing ￡29.99 is coming up as $29.99!

    2. Give read & write access to tmp folder!

    Have followed the installation instruction by the way – it’ll prob be the tmp folder – but not sure where to find it!

    tmp folder for you:
    /home/content/14/11715714/html/wp-content/plugins/etsy-shop/tmp/

    The plugin need to be able to write in it for the caching.

    From my computer, I see $ GBP.
    May be it show $ US because of your local settings (cookie of Etsy)?

    How would I change that? My Etsy store is in GBP – I wouldn’t mind so much if the price was converted and showed the price in dollars, but it’s sowing the $ symbol with the GBP price so the items looks a lot cheaper than it actually is!

    Had a look with fresh eyes this morning, for those who want to know, if you go to plugin section, look for Etsy Shop, Edit and you get a bunch a code. Ctrl+f and write in ‘currency’. There will be 5. Go to the 4th one and change <p class=”etsy-shop-listing-price”>$’.$price.’ to <p class=”etsy-shop-listing-price”>￡’.$price.’

    Voila!

    Oh, about changing the “$”, it’s planned for version 1.x of the plugin.
