Establishing and Intranet

    We have our organization web site on WordPress.com. We want to establish an intranet for our small office that is growing. We do not want to hassle with moving our website and do not have a physical server, we have a storage set up. What do I need to do in order to establish a private intranet on WordPress without moving our web site from .com? Is it possible?

    Thank you for your post, but I believe it is not generally possible to add arbitrary plugins to wordpress.com sites, so unless the operators of wordpress.com are willing to add ‘All-In-One Intranet’ to their service, it won’t be available.

    I don’t know whether any wordpress.com theme or plugin is available for this. The best thing will be to ask on a forum that is specific to wordpress.com, or to ask their support team directly.

    Hi Dan- Can I set up a staff website on www.remarpro.com to be private, that can serve as our company intranet with the plugin and be the homepage sign in. We would keep everything else with wordpress.com, but would host a separate site for staff through www.remarpro.com and a hosting company.

    Yes, if that’s completely independent of wordpress.com then it should be fine.
