I’ve previously used a combination of Flexipages and Widget logic to create custom menus for different sections. This approach has worked very well but Woosidebars is easier to manage. My only criticism would be that if you are using WordPress as a CMS and you have a large number of pages then it can get a little bit unwieldy.
