Esplanade Theme: Text not showing in sticky sliders

  • Love the Esplanade theme and it does almost everything I want it to do, however I am in the process of moving my site content from an old theme to Esplanade and I cannot seem to get the text to show up in the sticky sliders. Site located here:

    All that shows up in the sticky slider is the featured image of the post, not the text. What do I need to do to show the text in the sticky? Also I would like to know how can I stop the sticky post appearing right underneath the sticky post – it’s just a repeat of my featured sticky post.

    It’s probably something so simple but I’m at a loss at how to fix it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
