eShop "shop manager" user

    eShop doesn’t have a Shop Manager role.

    Interesting. That “user role” was still available in my Users panel. It must have been left over from a different shop plugin (woo commerce) with which I was experimenting. I just now deleted, instead of just deactivated, the other plug-in. And now the user role “shop manager” is no longer available.

    However… I think that adding a “shop manager” user role to eShop might be a good feature request. This user would have access to all the active shop pages, but not be a full admin user, with design and other admin functions.

    That’s never going to be added to the core eShop plugin as user roles & capabilities are highly site specific.

    As there has not been an update to this topic for a while, I can only assume that the issue has now been resolved and I am now marking it as such. If this is incorrect, please feel free to change the topic’s status and/or post a followup.
