eShop downloads not being sent out

    Hi,

    I have installed eShop, uploaded my files, created my products, attaching the uploads to them and listed them on an eShop page. All good and seems to work until I actually tested it by buying one.

    It all went through OK, I got charged and paid but I never received the link to the eBook I had ordered! Can someone tell me where I have gone wrong please?

  • It’s been a pretty busy hour or so here. We released a bug fix update to eShop earlier today – only to find that the bug fixes had uncovered a new bug that didn’t trigger on our servers. Fixing that one highlighted yet another problem which took a while to track down whilst simultaneously trying to acknowledge users’ reports of errors due to the the original bug in their shops.

    Oh – the joys of plugin development! Now off to take two paracetamol and have a lie down in a quiet room. ??

    OK I have the following plugins activated:
    – All In One SEO
    = Google Analytics for WordPress
    – Google XML Sitemaps with multisite support
    – Hikari Internal Links
    – Simple 301 Redirects
    and yes
    Bad Behavior.
    As you mentioned Bad Behavior above I disabled it and retested AND IT WORKED!! (so I guess our hijacker has helped me anyway!)

    So only one question. I rather like Bad Behavior as a plugin as it does stop the spam which drives me crazy but do I have to make a choice between the 2 or is there a way I can run both please.

    yes, you have to add various Paypal IP addresses into Bad Behaviour. And no i don’t have a list, sorry.
