• Hello

I created a product and added the price for check out all in firefox. When i tested it, all worked and click on ‘checkout’ and it would take you through to the relevant form

My clients are complaining that when they click on ‘checkout’ they then get a 404 error, which I also do in Safarai/IE.

Ive got no idea how to fix this error, any ideas?

    Thanx in advance

  • Have you confirmed that you still have a Checkout Page in Admin/Pages?

    Hi Esmi

I do, just discovered its in draft form and is a blank page.

In Firefox when i click im taken through to another form.

How do I keep this page hidden, yet set it to published so I can use it?

    thankyou

you need this shortcode on the page [eshop_show_checkout]

It should be hidden until there is anything in the shopping cart.

The shortcode is already on the page.

Change the Checkout page’s status from Draft to Published. Your users will never get to see it if it’s not published.

Thanx for that, so I published it and another tab is added to my navigation…how do I get around that, or do I make it a child?

It should be a child of Shopping Cart.

OK, I got it, made it a child and it goes through to the form.

I guess a simple resolution but sthing I didnt know about.

    Thankyou for your help
    ??

Not only that, i found that I would get a ‘not found, Sorry, but you are looking for something that isn’t here.’ error in IE8 when I had the Shopping cart page marked as privately published. Firefox was ok with it. Set it back to published and seems to be ok now.

    sorry that should have read:

probably because you were logged into wordpress in firefox, and not logged in in IE.
