  • Würde ja die Erweiterung des G?stebuchs kaufen, geht das nicht anders als über diesen Marketplace, wo man sich erst Registrieren muss um etwas zu kaufen?

    The preview is part of the add-on.
    It was just submitted at the marketplace, but needs to be approved. That will take 2 days probably.

    About the “Name oder Pseudonym oder Pseudonym: *”, not sure what is happening there.
    It should just list “Name”, not anything more. Did you add code to your website that changes the name label?

    The German translation has just a ‘Name:’ as translated string.

    before I installed the adon I was able to change texts in the German language file with Locotranslate, now after the installation I still can not find the texts “Bewertung für mein Repertoire abgeben” in the language files of “Gwolle Guestbook” and “Gwolle Guestbook The Add-On” “Name oder Pseudonym oder Pseudonym” again as they are displayed in the frontend. In which database are these data entered, or what must be completely deleted from WP, so I can rebuild everything?

    You can use FTP to go to wp-content/languages/plugins, and remove (or backup) the gwolle-gb* files.
    Then go to Dashboard > Updates and update the translation files.

    Please be aware that any changes you make to these translation files may get overwritten on updates.
    Loco Translate is mostly used for plugins that have no maintained translations.

    I have now completely uninstalled guestbook and adon, then only the guestbook version 2.6.6. installed – now you can not send any more entries – the message comes up: Error, inform the administrator. Since the first installation of the adon only problems arose … too bad for the money for the adon.

    It is not a good idea to edit the database directly in WordPress.
    What you could do is go to Guestbook > Settings > Uninstall-tab, then run the uninstaller. Afterwards you can activate the plugins again, and it should work fine.

    Not sure about editing the translation file. I never use Loco Translate and have no idea where it puts its translation. Could it be under /wp-content/plugins/gwolle-gb/languages/ ?

    yes you can choose, so locotranslate / plugins / gwolle-gb / languages / … german or also plugins / gwolle-gb-adon / languages / … others. I completely deleted it, now use the comments – was too complicated with the Adon
