Errors with new update

    Hi! The new update did get rid of a lot of accessibility text issues which is awesome!

    Now the issues I am having are with existing stories I was updating, or when I duplicate an existing story to repurpose as a new story.

    Here are the errors I am getting:
    Missing story cover image (even though one is there)
    Missing story title (that is also in there)
    Missing story description (This is also there, I tried to remove it – save the story – exit out and go back in and paste it back and save again but I still get the error)
    Story too short – Even though the story is over 4 frames and has enough text.

    Sometimes I will even get these errors when I open up a story that only an hour ago showed no errors.

  • @tlf123 Thanks so much for your report! We were able to reproduce this issue and will investigate it in this GitHub issue.

    In the meantime, you can disregard those messages in the checklist and use the AMP Test tool to validate your stories.

    We will follow up with any updates.

    Hi there @tlf123, hope all is well! I just wanted to check, are you still experiencing the issue with the checklist not updating after updating to the latest version (1.7.1) of the Web Stories for WordPress plugin?
