Errors when trying to install 2nd WordPress
-
Hi All…. Im very new at this!
I have several IP’s hosted by the same hosting comany using ‘localhost’. I’ve uploaded one set of WP files to the first IP/domain, and it’s working fine. Now I’m trying to get a second WordPress working on another IP/domain. I have followed all the instructions and set up a Mysql database with a unique name, edited the sample config.php file with the proper database name, username, and password. Then uploaded all the WP files and config.php to my new domain. When pointing my browser to the (/wp_adim/install.php) I get the following error message.
‘.__(‘Already Installed’).’
‘.__(‘You appear to have already installed WordPress. To reinstall please clear your old database tables first.’).’
‘);} switch($step) { case 0: case 1: // in case people are directly linking to this display_header(); ?>

‘.__(“ERROR: you must provide an e-mail address.”).’
‘); } else if (!is_email($admin_email)) { // TODO: poka-yoke die(‘
‘.__(‘ERROR: that isn’t a valid e-mail address. E-mail addresses look like: [email protected]’).’
‘); } $wpdb->show_errors(); $result = wp_install($weblog_title, ‘admin’, $admin_email, $public); extract($result, EXTR_SKIP); ?>
admin
‘.__(‘Note that password carefully! It is a random password that was generated just for you.’).”; ?>I have read a lot of post, and tried different things to correct this with the same results. Can anyone help on this?
Thanks
