I’ve been dealing with errors for this plugin on gallery pages for years. I upgraded PHP to version 5.6 (willing to upgrade to whatever stable version Nextgen supports) and am running WP 4.9.7 and Nextgen Gallery 3.0.1.

I get the following errors on gallery pages:

Warning: in_array() expects parameter 2 to be array, null given in /home3/tccannon/public_html/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/products/photocrati_nextgen/modules/nextgen_basic_album/package.module.nextgen_basic_album.php on line 90

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home3/tccannon/public_html/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/products/photocrati_nextgen/modules/nextgen_basic_album/package.module.nextgen_basic_album.php on line 84

I have tried disabling all plugins and that did not resolve the issue, nor did changing the theme. I poked around in the PHP specifically for looking at those 2 lines and didn’t see any inherent errors in the code, although I am not a programer by any stretch of the imagination. I really like your plugin, but this has been going on too long, seems like every update something new breaks.

    Hey @pinballw,

Very sorry to hear about this error ?? Errors like this are very rare. They can be triggered by another installed plugin, sometimes a theme. We see this happen more often due to an outdated server setting or a corrupt database table. So let’s see if updating some server settings help clear this out. Reach out to your hosting provider and confirm they have the www.remarpro.com Requirements settings in place:

    MySQL v5.6 (or higher)
    PHP 7.2 (or higher)

    Memory limit: 250MB (or higher)
    Upload limit: 50MB (or higher)
    Post limit: 50MB (or higher)
    /wp-content directory has sufficient permissions (i.e. 755)

With those in place, everything should work smoothly for you. If the issue still shows up, please send us a bug report here: https://www.imagely.com/report-bug and reference this forum thread. Mention that Becky referred you and we’ll take a closer look at your site to see why this is happening. Hopefully the update in the server settings will clear it out for you. ??

Because it has been a month or more since your last reply, I am going to mark this as resolved as I assume you have found a solution. Please feel free to reply again if you still have questions. ??

    Thanks!

Hey, sorry for not replying sooner. I had my server update my PHP and MySQL databases and that did it! Thanks for the help.
